Welcome to my homepage. I am an astrophysicist studying how the Sun's magnetic field influences the outer atmosphere of the Sun. Specifically, my work focuses on the dynamic interactions, through the magnetic field, between the photosphere, chromosphere, and corona of the Sun.

My work depends on data from several sources including:
  • Ground-based imagery taken at the Swedish Solar Observatory on the island of La Palma, Spain.
  • EUV and UV images from the TRACE instrument, a NASA SMEX satellite.
  • EUV spectra from the CDS instrument on the SoHO Satellite
  • Magnetograms from the MDI instrument on the SoHO Satellite
